The dangerous materials
They are established on the basis of the UN recommendations for transport of dangerous goods and regularly updated by the experts of the UN ( the “orange book”).
Specific regulations are published for each mode of transport:
- IMDG code for sea transport
- RID code for railroad transport
- ADR code for road transport
- IATA regulations for air transport
Lifespan of the IBC’s, review of the regulation:
"The IBC’s SLX in "UN" version have a lifespan of maximum 5 years with obligation of one inspection visit latest 30 months after the manufacturing date, with all expenses to be borne by the user."
Food products
